Swinging vs. Sliding Gates

Automation can be fitted to either swinging or sliding gate types. Sliding gates, move from side to side travelling on a ground mounted steel track. These gates can be fitted to existing or new driveways. The gate rolls on the track supported by two wheels. This type of gate offers security without the use of a lot of internal space and are best suited for light commercial and industrial applications. Swinging gates have motors that work independently on each panel. Locking with latches chain or automation, these gates are easy to use.
